Hello my name is Abel Huerta and I am 17 years of age. I really enjoy playing the piano, singing, going to school, playing video games, going to church, reading and spending time with family and friends. In 9 months I will finish high school and I am deciding on which university I want to attend, I would like to go to UCLA and I dream of graduating across the stage. I am a young man with with many dreams and a strong desire to live but my life has changed from one day to the next. I was diagnosed with a tumor in my head and suddenly I am in a hospital bed, after 1 surgery my diagnosis was not the best. The doctors are doing everything they can to be able to help but time is getting shorter for me. My family and I don't lose hope that from the heavens above a miracle can happen and I can continue on my path as I imagined it. My mother has always been my warrior, who has always worked hard to support my now 25 year old sister, my self and my 6 year old sister. Now it's my turn to fight like a warrior to combat this illness. With your support, my mother can fight along side with me. If you could please help me however you can, I would be infinitely grateful.

Hola mi nombre es Abel Huerta y tengo 17 años de edad. Me gusta mucho tocar el piano,cantar, ir a la escuela, los videojuegos, ir a la iglesia, leer y pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos. En 9 meses termino mis estudios en high school y estoy decidiendo el colegio al que quiero ir. Me gustaria la universidad de L.A. pues tengo el sueño de poder graduarme. Soy un joven con muchos sueños y muchas ganas de salir adelante pero la vida me ha cambiado de un día para otro pues me diagnosticaron un tumor en mi cabeza y ahora de repente me veo en una cama de un hospital, despues de 1 cirugía mi diagnóstico no es el mejor, los doctores hacen todo lo que esta en sus manos para poder ayudarme pero el tiempo cada vez es mas corto para mi. Mi familia y yo no perdemos la esperanza que desde el cielo pase algo y pueda seguir mi camino como lo imagine. Mi mama siempre ha sido mi guererra quien ha trabajado mucho para cuidar de mi hermana mayor, yo , y mi hermanita. Ahora me toca a mi sacar el guerrero que llevo adentro y combatir esta enfermedad. Con su ayuda y su apoyo podremos salir adelante. Se los agradeceria de todo corazon que nos alluden con lo que este en sus manos se los agradeceria infinitamente.
