Love For Luke (Iorio)

     As some of you may know on Friday October 30th, Luke was admitted to MGH and has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  Several people have expressed a desire to help Luke and the Iorio family with a donation so we decided to set up This Go Fund Me page. The Iorio's are very lucky in that they have health insurance and are on solid financial footing. However, they don't know exactly what they will be facing over the course of Luke's expected 3 year treatment. The funds would be used by Luke's family only if necessary.

      The Iorio's wish everyone to know that if the donated funds are not needed for their use, then they will be donated in Luke's name to a specific family or families with a similar diagnosis but that may not be as prepared to deal with it.  In the absence of a specific family we will donate the remaining funds to foundation(s) researching the early detection, prevention and cure for childhood Leukemia.  At this time we fully expect most, if not 100% of the funds to ultimately be able to be donated to a less fortunate family or families.

      In addition we have established a Facebook page to show Luke and his family the love and support he has around him, and so that the Iorio Family can provide updates with ease.  Please share photos, memories and videos as much as possible.  Luke loves seeing all of them on his new iPad.  To find the Facebook page, just search LOVE FOR LUKE.
