Hi friends and family,
Back in November, I was in a car accident that totaled my beloved 2005 Mazda Tribute. Something rolled underneath my car and went through the engine. Losing my car has been incredibly hard. Since then, I've been trying to gather enough funds to get back on the road, but it's been a struggle—especially being young and not having a long credit history. Most banks won't work with me unless I can afford a large down payment, and that's just not something I can do on my own right now. I've been struggling to save money on my own, especially with the first few months having to transport to LA for my new job through Uber. Which, yes...is about $90 or more per ride. (Ubers and lyfts are expensive!!)
I've managed to save $1,500 toward a new car, but I need $3,600 total to finally make it happen. That extra $2,100 will cover the down payment, registration, and help me secure a reliable vehicle that can get me to work, errands, and appointments without stress.
I know everyone has their own struggles, and I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't really in need. If you're able to donate anything at all—even just a few dollars—it would mean the world to me. And if you can't donate, just sharing this would help a lot too.
I don't like asking for help; it takes a lot out of me to admit I'm struggling. Having to rely on other people lately for rides, it's been taking a lot out of me. I want to be independent again. I miss having my car.
Regardless, thank you so much for reading and supporting me in any way you can.
With love and gratitude,
Tori
