Hi everyone, my name is Dionne Blaize.  I'm an aspired filmmaker/actress.

 

I am raising funds for a short film project. I've always dreamed big but lacked the self-confidence needed  to pursue this dream.  I never thought it was possible with the negative influences I've always had around me.  I was fortunate to meet an amazing film director who encouraged/inspired me to go for it, Antoine Allen.  Antoine kept telling me I'm a gifted writer, but it took time for me to accept and believe it. Because of my director friend's inspiration/encouragement/support, I just recently completed my first short film entitled "Dreams", which he directed and helped me to submit to Festivals.  Completing my very first short film, gave me the boost that was needed.  I can actually do this!

I've been through a lot and I want to share my experiences with people.  When you think you're alone, there are others who are experiencing similar experiences that feel alone and discouraged.  I want to inspire/help people, encourage people and let them know they are not alone and to never give up hope!

I just finished writing this script and I'm so excited and honored at the thought of making it become a reality.  I'm one-step closer to my goal.

I think this film is important because it tells the story of an experience I went through in pursuing my singing career!  Trusting the wrong people and being strung along!
