November 10th, 1998, we lost our dear brother, Andre Salsedo at the young age of 19, to a senseless shooting. Due to the abrupt nature and family hardships at the time, we were only able to afford him a basic burial.
Andre Salsedo deserved so much better. He was a loving father, devoted brother, and the definition of a true friend. He lived to help others, whether it was an understanding ear to vent to, a warm shoulder to cry on, or a strong person to lean on. Without hesitation, he was there for any and everyone who needed him until that fateful night.
His two young sons, brothers, sisters, mother, and friends were left in the wake of his tragic death.
Now, 18 years later, we are hoping that we can give him the one thing we couldn't so many years ago: a headstone worthy of the legacy he left behind.
We pray that this final piece to his farewell will give those who loved him, those who were close to him, a sense of closure especially for his two amazing sons.
With your help and/or donation we can make that happen. Even if you can only give $1.00, your help will be greatly appreciated. There is no donation too great or too small. If you are unable to donate, you can still help. Simply share this gofundme page on your social media wall.
