Anyone who has met our father even briefly will tell you that he has one of the biggest, kindest, hearts full of love around. Unfortunately the physical doesn't always match the spiritual and that beautiful heart is also turning out to need some help. He went into the hospital this week and found that things were worse than we thought. We are so grateful that he went in when he did and they were able to catch this in time to take the neccesary steps! Now our father finds himself at the beginning of a journey that starts with open heart surgery and continues down a long road of recovery.

During this journey our parents will need lots of support. We know there will be no shortage of that as we have been blessed to already see so many people loving them incredibly well. One practical way we would like to help is by easing the financial burden this will place on them. We know our parents trust God to provide...and we also know that God loves to use the generousity of ordinary people to do so! We would really love to give our dad the gift of saying "Don't the worry about how you will pay this. You just get better...the bill is taken care of." If you feel led, we know my parents would really appreciate (but never ask for) your generosity and that it would remove a weight from them. Please give as you feel led...every small bit helps. If you are not able to help monetarily do not feel pressured at all. Your love, support, and most importantly, prayers are the greatest gift! Thank you all for loving our family so well!
