I'm urgently raising money for Nutrition and Education International so that they can get enough soybean seeds to 500 farmers in Afghanistan by the end of this April. If these farmers don't plant the seeds in time, they may lose the chance of a harvest and then lose the chance to feed children like these.  Any donation will help make an impact. More information about Nutrition and Education International: NEI has been working with local communities in Afghanistan for the past 17 years and created a soy value chain as a self-sustainable way to end malnutrition. Due to COVID and the loss of grants, NEI is concerned that it won’t be able to continue providing the support to the thousands of farmers that have been trained to grow soy.

The harvest from one ton of soy can provide 10,000 families of six with enough protein for 3 months. $50 can provide a rural farmer with seeds and fertilizer to grow soy. Any donation will make a real impact, especially for the children in Afghanistan.
