Sowing seeds and supporting dreams

LaChrisha McAllister is extraordinary, affectionally known as Cree.  Cree has been accepted into Southern University Law Center.  We are seeking your financial support as it will allow Cree to travel to Louisiana, find a home, purchase books, live and thrive.  Cree is who you call when you need to talk, or move, or babysit, or enjoy a meal with. She’s the woman who won’t flinch when it’s time to speak truth to power. She’s light in those moments of darkness. She’s the sista called at the come get me hour. She’s the can you do my hair community stylist.  She’s we can, and we will. She is  unapologic in her love for her people, and fearless in the struggle for justice.  If Black girl magic is bold,  witty, Chicago fierce, strength that is compassionate, and passionate, mixed with laughter and a funky rhyme, she’s that too.  She is community, and it is to the community that we appeal. Cree is walking in her purpose and the path to Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a momentous and mountainous. It is an opportunity beset with many financial obligations, seen and unseen. But, I hear the elders say ... but God.  What love can do has no limitations.  Please join us in blessing Cree as she embarks on this journey.  There is a Yoruba proverb that says what you give, you get 10 times over. She’s worth every prayer, every dime and dollar invested in her.  No Blessing is unappreciated, thank you a million times over ...  #sendingcreetolawschool
