Help Me Answer God’s Call to Become a Nurse

Hello, my name is Shae and I’m stepping out in faith to share my journey with you.

I am a first-generation college graduate who has gone back to school to fulfill a higher calling becoming a nurse. This is not just my dream, but the dream of my late father, who always wanted to see me in this role before he passed away. After years of obstacles, setbacks, and trials, this is my third attempt at nursing school and by God’s grace, He has made a way this time.

I left behind the career I built after college to walk in God’s will for my life. Nursing school has tested me in every possible way financially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I’ve poured out everything I had: my savings, my 401k, my investments because I believe in this calling. And every semester, God has proven faithful. He carried me through my first two semesters, and I know He will carry me through the next two.

But this time, He’s asking me to walk in humility and invite others to be a part of this journey. I’ve always believed in working hard and providing for myself, but I also know His word says, “Ask, and you shall receive.”

This degree is not just about me. It’s about what God is preparing me to give back to His kingdom and to the people He will place in my care. As a nurse, I will be able to heal, to comfort, to serve, and to love others in their most vulnerable moments just as Christ has called us to do.

I’m asking for your help to cover my tuition and educational expenses so that I can cross the finish line and walk fully in the calling God has placed on my life.
