Apologetics Central is a founded by Reina Pathan and Romario Dawod.

We are an apologetics and education centred ministry that equips individuals with Scriptural literacy and the knowledge and truth about Jesus. Our ministry specialism is in Islam and Christianity.

Whether you are exploring Christianity, new to the faith or a well-cooked Christian seeking to deepen your knowledge about the Bible, we aim to equip you with a strong foundation to your faith and relationship with God. Our motto is Iron Sharpens Iron and we aim to strengthen you with the knowledge of Scripture so that the Truth is illuminated and you too can evangelise to others with confidence and the power of the Holy Spirit.

1. Trainings, workshops and events

A key focus of our ministry is in equipping Christians on evangelising to Muslims.

Evangelism with Muslims carries a unique blueprint. Those that are called to this work must equip themselves with in-depth knowledge about the Quran and Bible. Evangelising to Muslims is a study of Christianity and Islam and a skill of articulation, engagement and presenting your case to a Muslim.

We aim to bring Scriptural literacy to Christians and Muslims globally. We currently host online trainings and partner with churches to deliver training to their evangelism, youth and outreach teams.

We have plans to extend our work to in-person events and conferences in 2027.

2. Pop-up Evangelism and Speakers Corner London

Alongside hosting trainings and events, we also want to reach Muslims in-person.

What is pop-up evangelism?

Pop-up evangelism is our way of engaging in public inter-faith dialogue. This is where we set up public stalls for Q&A style apologetic and evangelism with Muslims.

This is an opportunity for us to bring the Gospel beyond the four walls of a Muslims home, to intercede in prayer for them, preach the Word and evangelise to both Muslims and non-Muslims.

As the Lord has placed sharing the Gospel with Muslims on our hearts, our pop-up stalls are geared at engaging in open and respectful dialogue with Muslims about the Quran and Bible. The beauty of this is that when in public, the Gospel is not just shared with Muslims but those around who are called pulled by God to hear the good news.

Speakers Corner London

Speakers Corner is well known for its free speech, public speaking and inter-faith dialogue. It is a dedicated strip within Hyde Park where often Christian evangelism meets Islamic dawa.

Our trips to Speakers Corner London encourage inter-faith dialogue with Muslims, giving us an opportunity for us to engage in apologetics, discuss the Quran and introduce them to Scripture.

3. Travel costs

The bulk of our work requires a lot of travel.

Evangelism in the UK is in a downward spiral. Churches are not investing enough time or resources in training and building evangelism teams to send out.

With the current climate in the UK, a core part of engagement with apologetics and evangelism will require the church to learn how to engage with Muslims.

Our aim is to reach churches across the UK and train them in how to effectively evangelise and set up church evangelism teams that are strong, bold and on fire for the Gospel.

The revival of the church in the UK starts from reviving its fire for Jesus, within.

4. Resources and material

We also invest our research and time in creating resources and material for Muslims to bring to light the issues within the Quran and Hadiths and, to point them to the Bible.

We require funds to print-out resources and material which will be handed out to individuals at our pop-up evangelism stalls and events.

Resources are also used for training material.

5. Tech, hosting platforms and social media

We are reliant on technology and hosting platforms to host online trainings and create social medial content. This helps our reach extend globally to far and wide places where Muslims are currently not accessible to us.

Technology has given our ministry the opportunity to train Christians in evangelising to Muslims, globally. We often have ex-Muslims and Christians across the globe join our training events. From the UK, Mexico, USA, Caribbean, Pakistan, Malaysia and more!

Social media has benefitted apologists and evangelists like ourselves extend our reach. We often have Muslims reach out to us from countries where we would not be permitted to preach the Gospel. This is therefore a powerful tool the Lord is using towards advancing his Kingdom.

We are also creating an online platform to build a community with; ex-Muslims, apologists, evangelists and Christians. Fellowship is a key part of the Christian walk and we believe that continued fellowship is required in this walk with Christ.

Our online platform will host replays of our trainings, online training programs, discussion forums and community chats.
