On behalf of our family, we are deeply saddened to share the loss of our father, Sovann Pen. Those who have known him would easily recognize him as a caring and compassionate father and family member. On January 24th, he passed away after a battle with liver cancer. While his passing is difficult on all of us, we wanted to reach out to our friends, family, and community for support and assistance as we are unable to cover his burial expenses at this time.

 

Before his passing, Sovann was surrounded by his family and friends. He leaves behind his wife Vy Prak, his three children: Christina, Mary and Vanneth; and his grandchildren: Cianna, Payton and Skyla, who he loved deeply. Those who knew Sovann knew him to be an honest and thoughtful person who also liked to fix cars and help others among other things.  

 

While we grieve the loss of our beloved family member, we are asking for donations to help support the cost of Sovann’s burial and rites of passage. It is an extreme tragedy for all of us to lose him at this time. His passing has saddened all of us, and we need the support of our friends, family, and community to help us to give him a proper burial. Any donation is appreciated, and there is no amount too small.
