Ma belle soeur, Sophie Hébert a été diagnostiquée avec un osteo sarcome aggressif. Il se pourrait aussi que ce soit un spindle cell neoplasm. Je préfère ne pas traduire pour ne pas me tromper.
En gros c'est un cancer très aggressif qui a déjà fait disparaître le côté droit de sa mandibule. Il a aussi attaqué un de ses bras (humérus droit) et deux de ses vertèbres. Elle ne peut donc pas s'alimenter normalement pour s'aider à prendre des forces et elle a perdu beaucoup de poids.
C'est une mère de famille et le ciel leur est tombé sur la tête. Du jour au lendemain ils doivent effectuer des voyages quasi-quotidiens à Montréal pour y subir des examens, des chirurgies et des traitements de chimiothérapie. Avec la COVID qui s'ajoute à l'équation, mon frère ne peut pas travailler pour subvenir aux besoins de la famille parce que Sophie est devenue immunodéficiente. Mon frère sera un aidant naturel mais avec tous les coûts reliés à la maladie, il leur serait très utile d'avoir un certain allègement au niveau financier. Ça permettrait de payer pour les purificateurs d'air, nourriture spéciale, l'essence, le stationnement et autre.
Je crois qu'avec tout ce qu'ils vivent, ne pas avoir à s'inquiéter pour l'argent serait la moindre des choses. Je m'en remet donc à votre générosité. Si beaucoup de personnes donnent très peu, nous arriverons à l'aider.

Overall, it is a very aggressive form of cancer which made the right side of her mandible disappear. It also attacked one of her arms (right humerus) and two of her vertebras. Therefore she cannot feed herself properly in order to get even a bit healthier. She lost a lot of weight.
She is a mother and the sky fell on her and her family. Out of the blue they have to travel almost daily to Montreal in order to get examined and treated with chimiotherapy. She also has to get her jaw bone replaced and undergo other surgeries.. With COVID getting into the mix, my brother cannot work anymore because he has to take care of the family and because Sophie became immunodeficient. He will be a natural aid but with all the costs involved, it would be really useful for them to have a bit of a financial alleviance . It would pay for the air purifiers, special food, gas, parking and whatnot.
I think that with what they're going through, not worrying about the money would be the least they could hope for. There is only so much I can do and donate and so I leave it to your generosity. If a lot of people donate only a small amount of money, we could attain our goal and help her a whole lot.
