Hello, I'm Robert Quitman, and I am raising money for the Boys and Girls Southwest Dekalb Golf team. As some of you may know, resources for High School Golf are minimal. The team needs to raise money for golf range practice, golf clubs, golf bags, uniforms, golf balls, golf tees, golf gloves, lessons, tournament fees, end-of-year awards, and travel. Our home course is Sugar Creek Golf and Tennis. However, we play at many other courses, so please come out and watch the team as they compete.

We have four returning players from last year and eight new players for our 2022 season. The game itself is teaching these kids about more than golf. They are learning about how the principles of golf translate those to the classroom and life.

Some of our players can receive a golf scholarship to play at the next level. But it takes the right resources to help them achieve that. We have more minority kids taking up the sport of golf, which is a great thing because everyone can't play football or basketball. Diversity and inclusion are vital for our kids and this sport.
