Southport to Withernsea more than 300km Bike Ride

Antony Boggitt and Jamie Bancroft are going to cycle more than 300km across the Trans Pennine Trial on the 21st April, to raise money for Goole’s Helping Other’s charity and to raise awareness of the condition called Pectus Excavatum also known as sunken chest.
Both men wanted to fundraise for a local charity as they want to give back to the local community and families that will benefit, after learning of the work that ‘Helping Others’ do as an independent charity they wanted to help, especially during the current cost of living crisis.
The men also want to raise awareness of the condition called Pectus Excavatum, as two family friends suffer with the condition and the complications that this condition can cause and to make it known that the NHS funding for the surgery was pulled in 2019. Since 2019 friend Becky Blount has been actively campaigning to raise more awareness and asking the government to review the funding of the surgery, and to make people aware of the alternative treatment called Vacuum Belt Therapy, so Antony and Jamie wanted to help Becky spread the awareness.
Every donation no matter how big or small will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
