Help Hat Yai Families Survive Catastrophic Flooding in Southern Thailand
Right now, my family and over 600,000 people in Hat Yai, southern Thailand, are facing the worst flooding in generations. Entire neighbourhoods are submerged, homes are destroyed, and families, including my own, are stranded without food, clean water, or shelter.
The situation is dire:
- Water has risen above rooftops, trapping families on upper floors and roofs
- Government resources are overwhelmed and can't reach everyone in need
- Five members of my family are currently missing, we don't know if they're safe or where they are
- My family members who are farmers have lost their livelihoods and have no income during this crisis
- The flooding continues, and we still don't know the full extent of the damage

- Immediate survival needs: Food, clean water, and emergency supplies for stranded families
- Shelter support: Funds will be spilt towards to the local university providing emergency shelter to displaced families
