I am going on a medical mission trip to South Africa!
Donation protected
Hi! I am going to South Africa on a medical mission trip!!
I will be serving there May 1- 11 this year. We will have a team of nurses, doctors, PT, OT, speech, orthotics, and dermatology coming to serve an orphanage called Tshilidzini Special School in the Limpipo Province. There are over 250 children who have unfortunately been shunned from their family due to their physical disability. A lot of the children are in wheelchairs, missing limbs, struggle with cerebral palsy, or have other medical diagnoses that affect their day-to-day life. Our goal is to help these children physically while also filling them up spiritually with the gospel.
Through this trip, we will be able to provide medicine, orthotics (including adjustments for their wheelchairs, ankle braces, crutches, and shoes to assist clubfeet), provide different forms of therapy, fit people for eyeglasses, and educate the children with how to care for their medical needs. We will also be able to pray over these kids and share the gospel with them as a lot of them speak English!
Thank you so so much for considering donating! If you cannot give financially, please feel free to pray over our time there. Prayer is just as important and I appreciate your support!
