Six full-time South Stage Cellars vineyard staff and their families lost their homes to the devastating Almeda Fire that swept through Talent and Phoenix on September 8th, 2020.
These families lost more than just their homes - they basically escaped with the clothes on their backs. Starting from scratch is always a daunting chore, and coinciding with harvest, school year start and seasonal change makes things even tougher. South Stage Cellars will be funding this account by depositing 25% of the proceeds from a huge wine case sale happening right now.
If you would like to help these families get back on their feet by making an additional donation, we welcome you to do it through this GoFundMe program. South Stage Cellars' owner Traute Moore has organized this relief fund effort. The funds will go directly to our vineyard workers who need it the most. All of them, despite their loss, continue working many long hours daily picking the grapes for our wineries. We all certainly owe them a debt and admire their courage through this adversity.
