This year, South East Hants YFC are proud to be fundraising for Diabetes UK, a charity that is very close to our local club.

Type 1 diabetes is a serious and lifelong autoimmune condition that affects thousands of children and adults across the UK.

Diabetes UK is the leading charity for people living with and affected by diabetes in the UK. Its mission is to improve lives, prevent Type 2 diabetes, and work towards a world where diabetes can be cured. The charity provides vital support and information to individuals and families, campaigns for better care, and funds pioneering research into prevention, treatment, and potential cures. Money raised helps run helplines, support groups, and education programmes, while also enabling advocacy for improved healthcare services. A significant portion goes into research grants and projects, ensuring long-term progress in tackling the challenges of diabetes.
