South East Dog Rescue & Rehabilitation

Hi,

My name is Alexie, and I am 9 years old.

For the past two years, my mum has asked me to go away and think of something I would like to achieve in the coming year. I came back to my mum and said I would like to raise £50,000 for a dog shelter. The reason being is that a lot of dogs have been made homeless or mistreated, and they don't have many people to help, so I want to help.

 

I have a GSD named Zeus, and it upsets me to think people can be cruel and give away their pet, which is part of their family.

 

So with the help of zeus old trainer we found South East Dog Rescue & Rehabilitation.

 

I am planning on running/walking/biking 365 miles, making some cakes sales and anything else I can think of to help raise the money.

 

The money raised will go towards vet bills, food and caring for the dogs that need help.

 

I have said I would raise money for the dogs until the end of November. I want to raise this money. My mum said we might not reach that amount; however, she said she would help and support me in giving it a good go.
