South Boston Apartment Fire

It's with a sad heart that I, Trish Masciotti of Ridgefield, CT, am organizing this gofundme for my son and daughter-in-law Greg and Caiti Masciotti. My son Greg Masciotti  and my daughter-in-law Caiti Masciotti woke up in their apartment on 1426 Columbia Road Unit 2 South, Boston, MA at 3:30 AM on Saturday May 30th to see their apartment on fire (  https://www.boston25news.com/news/local/5-firefighters-hurt-nearly-40-displaced-7-alarm-southie-fire/MNZPOKJ56RC6NNNCDCMH2VWOEM/  ). Thankfully both are fine, they were able to escape without injuries. Unfortunately they do not have renters insurance to offset the costs of their losses, so I am setting up this fundraiser to help them rebuild.  

I am setting up this gofundme and reaching out to friends and family to help get Greg and Caiti back on their feet and replace their material possessions as they've lost everything except for Greg's cell phone, wallet and keys to their car in the fire. What they do have is each other and families and friends to support them during this traumatic time in their lives.  


I will be setting up my son, Greg Masciotti, as the beneficiary of the fundraiser so funds generated will go directly to Greg and Caiti Masciotti. Greg and Caiti Masciotti will use the funds donated for this tragic incident to rebuild what was lost in the fire; New home, food, clothing, personal documents, living/bedroom/kitchen/office furniture, kitchenware, electronics, room decor and other items that were lost.
