Hey, my name is Rajesh and i am a 22 year old British Indian artist and film maker. I have really struggled to find opportunities in film so i have written and will be directing a short film with an all POC cast and crew, aiming to give POC creatives opportunities in creative industries and create spaces they feel valued, seen and comfortable. The aim of this film is to show off SouthAsian people in a positive light which is a scarcity in western media, whilst lightly educating the general public on some cultural topics, like 'Navratri' which is the name of the motorcycle club in the film. This film is as much about putting South Asian creatives on the map as well as becoming a commercial success so one o the main goals is paying the cast and crew well, hence why this crowed fund is super important to us.
