South African Externship

Hello, my name is Desmond McLeod. I am a veterinary student that goes to Tuskegee University. All my life I have had a love for animals and a dream of working with them. Recently I received the opportunity to get to travel to South Africa for The International Symposium on Wildlife Utilization to learn about wildlife management. At this Symposium I will learn about the conservation and importance of veterinary involvement by having hands-on experience dealing with the wonderful animals of Africa. The funds will be used to help pay for the Symposium, airfare or travel cost, travel insurance, medical insurance, and luggage insurance.
