Help us to raise funds for South Africa schools

In October 2025 we will be travelling to South Africa on a Netball and Football tour. During the tour we will have the opportunity to take part in training sessions, participate in fixtures, experience the culture of another country and visit our partner schools; Dennegeur Primary School and Grabouw High School.

To raise money we have decided to be sponsored to cover the distance from Macclesfield to Cape Town (8,358 miles) before we set off in October, this can be any form of activity - running, walking, cycling, swimming etc. Each student and teacher must cover 321 miles each to cover the total distance, all our miles will be tracked on Strava. Our team name is Fallibroome South Africa.

One of our main fundraising events is a “Spinathon” which we are hosting on Saturday 22nd March at Carla Gilder Fitness in Macclesfield.

We are also organising lots of other fundraising activities such as car wash, football & netball scratch cards and selling refreshments at school sporting events.

All the monies raised will go towards the provision of team kit and educational equipment which will benefit all the students going on the tour and the pupils at our partner schools in South Africa.

We are also interested in hearing from any person or business who would be willing to sponsor our kit for the tour.
