En 2020, notre société de production de films, La Fabrique Films, basée en Inde, accueillait le tournage du film Suisse “And tomorrow we will be dead”, réalisé par Michael Steiner.
Pour les besoins du film, nous recherchions un traducteur et coach pour nos comédiens indiens. Nous prenons alors contact avec Noor, jeune homme afghan de 23 ans, étudiant en journalisme à l'Université de New Delhi.
Noor rejoint notre équipe de film de Janvier à Mars 2020.
En mars 2020, lorsque la pandémie démarre en Inde, Noor retourne à Delhi mais son université ferme pendant plusieurs mois. Fin Janvier 2021, il décide de rentrer chez lui à Kaboul et reprend des activités de marketing.
En août 2021, lorsque les talibans prennent le pouvoir à Kaboul, Noor décide de sortir dans la rue pour prendre des photos. Il est alors touché par une balle perdue dans la jambe.
Nous nous inquiétons alors pour Noor, dont la sécurité est notamment menacée suite à sa participation à notre film et au vu de son métier de journaliste.
Nous arrivons à activer plusieurs contacts et à informer plusieurs institutions françaises dont le Ministère des Affaires étrangères, le Ministère de la Culture, le CNC.
Le 21 août 2021, Noor est appelé en pleine nuit par la cellule de crise du Quai d’Orsay à des fins d’évacuation, mais il ne réussit pas à franchir l'enceinte de l'aéroport dans le contexte chaotique de la chute de Kaboul.
Il s’isole hors de Kaboul puis tente de passer au Pakistan, en vain, puis en Iran, où il échoue également à franchir la frontière. Les talibans ayant arrêté des ex-collègues et des personnes de son entourage familial, Noor se trouve en insécurité, dans une situation de plus en plus critique.
Plusieurs mois plus tard, Noor arrive à se rendre au Pakistan et y dépose une demande de visa à l'Ambassade de France, à Islamabad, en avril 2022.
Ce 6 juin 2023, Noor reçoit un email de l’Ambassade de France d’Islamabad le convoquant le 8 juin au matin.
Noor reçoit alors son visa pour la France. Il va enfin pouvoir quitter l’Afghanistan et venir s’installer en France.
Noor a 26 ans et est parfaitement anglophone. Curieux, débrouillard, et sociable, il a été un collaborateur apprécié de tous pendant notre tournage de 3 mois en Inde.
Il arrivera à Paris CDG le 22 juin au matin. Il va rester dans un premier temps à Paris et entamer les formalités de demande d’asile.
Nous venons de créer une cagnotte pour récolter des fonds afin de venir en aide à Noor, le temps que lui soient délivrés les papiers nécessaires pour pouvoir légalement se loger et travailler.
Ces fonds permettront de :
- rembourser son billet d’avion Islamabad-Paris
- participer à son hébergement : paiement d'un loyer ou d'un hébergement d'urgence
- contribuer à l’achat de nourriture, vêtements et produits de première nécessité
- si nécessaire, accéder aux soins de santé.
Au delà de l’effort financier que pourrait apporter à Noor, il est possible aussi de lui apporter son aide de plusieurs façons :
Dans un premier temps basé à Paris, Noor est à la recherche d’un logement - même temporaire - pour les premières semaines après son arrivée.
- Si vous avez une chambre ou un canapé à lui proposer temporairement, n’hésitez pas à nous contacter
- Si vous êtes ou connaissez un professionnel, associatif ou autre pouvant lui apporter une aide administrative et juridique pour accélérer ses démarches, contactez-nous.
- Enfin, si vous avez un peu de temps disponible, l’envie de discuter, de lui faire découvrir la ville, la langue française, ou d’échanger simplement avec lui, Noor sera à Paris à partir du 22 juin prochain, n’hésitez pas à le rencontrer.

In 2020, our film production company, La Fabrique Films, based in India, hosted the shooting of the Swiss film “And tomorrow we will be dead”, directed by Michael Steiner.
For the needs of the film, we were looking for a translator and coach for our Indian actors. We then contacted Noor, a 23-year-old Afghan journalism student at the University of New Delhi.
Noor joins our film crew from January to March 2020.
In March 2020, when the pandemic began in India, Noor returned to Delhi but his university closed for several months. At the end of January 2021, he decided to return home to Kabul and resumed his marketing activities.
In August 2021, when the Taliban took power in Kabul, Noor decided to go out into the streets to take pictures. He was hit by a stray bullet in his leg.
We are worried about Noor, his security is threatened by his participation in our film and in view of his work as a journalist.
We managed to activate several contacts and inform several French institutions including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, and the CNC.
On August 21, 2021, Noor was called in the middle of the night by the Quai d'Orsay crisis cell for evacuation, but he was unable to cross the airport grounds in the chaotic context of the fall of Kabul.
He isolates himself outside Kabul and then tries to cross into Pakistan, in vain, then into Iran, where he also fails to cross the border. As the Taliban arrested former colleagues and members of his family circle, Noor finds himself in an increasingly precarious situation.
Several months later, Noor managed to travel to Pakistan and applied for a visa at the Embassy of France in Islamabad in April 2022.
On June 6, 2023, Noor received an email from the French Embassy in Islamabad calling him on the morning of June 8.
Noor then received his visa for France. He was finally able to leave Afghanistan and move to France.
Noor is 26 years old and is perfectly anglophone. Curious, resourceful and sociable, he was a popular collaborator during our 3-month shooting in India.
He will land in Paris CDG on June 22nd Morning. He will initially stay in Paris and begin the asylum application process.
We have just created a pot to raise funds to help Noor, while he is being issued the necessary paperwork to legally house himself and work.
This funding will:
- refund his flight ticket Islamabad-Paris
- participating in its accommodation: payment of rent or emergency accommodation
- contribute to the purchase of food, clothing and basic necessities
- if necessary, access health care.
Beyond the financial effort that Noor could make, it is also possible to help him in several ways:
Initially based in Paris, Noor is looking for accommodation - even temporary - for the first weeks after his arrival.
