My dear friends.. we still need your help to raise some money for my nephew Carl, who suffers from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). You can find out more about OCD on the OCD treatment centre website here
Carl first developed OCD around aged 12 and his condition has become so extreme that he is severely debilitated by it.
He's now 29 years old.. extremely intelligent, creative and articulate but at a stage where he realises that his life and true potential are rapidly passing him by. This realisation creates more anxiety for Carl, often leading to suicidal ideation.
Carl has been receiving extremely affective, life changing treatment for the past year thanks to the generous donations made by family and friends and via the fundraising campaign I held last year.
He really is making significant improvements, learning how to manage his OCD, so thank you!!
However, the intensity of the treatment must continue for a while longer for him to manage his life independently.
His therapist, Craig, suffered severe OCD himself for years, hence being the best therapist for Carl. What is so crucial is that Carl trusts him, because Craig truly understands!
We are all rescuers at heart and many of you may want to share ideas of different therapies, diets etc, wondering why we're not using NHS services.. believe me, his parents have been battling and begging for appropriate treatment for 15 years!! And CBT really ISN'T appropriate for someone with ritualistic behaviour lol!

Anything you can afford to give will help - it will all add up! If 1000 people gave a pound each, guess what!?..
And an enjoyable way to help us is to come to my next festival on Saturday 20th Sept. at the Nyton Guest House in Ely, 7, Barton Road, CB7 4HZ.
FREE ENTRY! Adult garden games, Ceilidh dancing etc from 12pm, live music from 2pm - 9pm. Free entry but we accept card or cash payments for games, raffle and donations etc.
AND any items good enough for the charity shop is good enough for us - so donations for raffle prizes very much appreciated too please! I can arrange pick up or just bring on the day
Thank you all so much!
With much love, hope and gratitude
Romy x
