My name is Savannah Griffin. I’m a filmmaker and humanitarian.

For the past five years, I have volunteered with organizations protecting children in isolated parts of the world. From these kid's stories, my team and I are creating a feature documentary.

Souls of the World's mission is to uncover the obstacles preventing kids from achieving their dreams—while revealing the resilience, hope, and humanity that connect them across cultures.

In Thailand, families sell their children for survival.

In Mexico, six-year-olds are recruited into the drug cartel.

Now, we are traveling to Patagonia and Antarctica (i.e. the end of the world) to find the next part of our story.

We are hoping to raise $20,000 to help cover the costs of travel. My small team and I will be driving for three months, starting in Santiago, Chile and going as far south as humanly possible.

Passage between the Andes Mountains is rough and unpredictable, and we will need a reliable vehicle in order to reach the most isolated, unvisited villages of South America.

On a personal note, Souls of the World is the most important project I have ever worked on. After graduating from USC's Film & Television program in 2019, I had the privilege of working at Warner Brothers and other major Hollywood studios—before realizing that my passion was with humanitarian work and documenting childhood development.

I am so grateful for my friends and family who've inspired me to pursue this life purpose. I can't see myself doing anything else!
