Soulmates Reunited One Last Time,Last Wishes

Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Jamie and I am trying to raise money for funeral and burial costs for a couple who have been a huge part of my life for 35 years. Let me tell you the amazing story about this couple and what motivates me to help their only daughter, while in mourning,is trying to respect and honor her parents final wishes.

Laura and Ricky

Laura and Ricky were blissfully married in 1972. They were blessed with a great gift 9 years later. Their daughter Monique, their greatest gift from God, arrived by surprise April 1981. They weren't the most experienced as parents, but they did what was needed for their family. Many trials and tribulations have taken this family to the level of almost poverty and they still used those tough times as stepping stones just to get by. They worked very hard to put their daughter in the best schools from Preschool thru High School in Chicago. Laura worked very hard in every position she worked. She was the smiling lady behind the counter serving your refreshments when you go to Wrigley Field,United Center,Navy Pier, she did it all.She didn't drive, but her amazing hubby Ricky always made sure his sweetheart got to and from work safely. He was always on his way to Laura no matter what. Thru pain, financial troubles, slumlords,Ricky and Laura never gave up on their family.
She was very involved in the PTA at every school her daughter attended.
Even as a teenager, her daughter worked to help support her family as well as her sweetheart Ricky. Laura was a beautiful Blond with bright blue eyes, wonderful smile, and laugh. When she and Ricky would walk into a room, you would know it. They didn't have much to offer, but their love and their strong values of what a family really is. They didn't care if you were blood, they cared that you were honest, loyal, had a sense of humor, and loved with all your heart.

In May 2020, Laura and Ricky at the same time took a turn for the absolute worst,
Laura was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and needed a hysterectomy, but couldn't get the surgery until her Chemotherapy was completed. She fought and she fought, never claiming this disease over her life. She was a stern, strong fighter and was doing everything she could to get back to her husband, her soulmate, her best friend.
Ricky after months of suffering from seizures,to many other health issues was just recently diagnosed with C.J.D.(Man Cow Disease For Humans) An autoimmune disease that does not have a cure, survival rate is 6 months to a year and he's 3 months into it and he's fighting to hang on for dear life to get back to his wife, who he hasn't seen physically since May 2020.

Right now their daughter Monique struggles with mourning her Mother who passed away in her arms August 3rd after a short battle with Ovarian Cancer. Her Father Ricky recently has elevated white blood cell count that shows a bad infection and his time is very limited. He can't speak,he can't breathe on his own.His heart is the only thing keeping him alive. Ricky is set to move to a new nursing facility August 12th and before Laura's sudden death, Monique was trying to reunite her parents one last time so they could be together, but that wish didn't happen. These two people were never meant to mourn each other. Before their health issues, they spoke with their only child that their final wishes were to not be cremated due to their religious beliefs, but to be buried together side by side as they both were always two peas in a pod.

This family needs your help to make their last wishes come true. Sadly from all the years of working and financial struggles, they didn't have a insurance policy. They were in process of trying to get a policy when COVID began and their health issues came on very quickly. Laura did not get Life Insurance for working over 25 years at United Center. Monique needs your help, please donate what you can to help these Soulmates reunite in death and in eternal life. She needs the funds rather quickly because it's 2 days after her Mother's passing and she needs to setup funeral arrangements.

Thank you all so much for reading this amazing story of love, life, and strength.
