I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping me, Chef Tamearra Dyson, and my team, to raise capital for Souley Vegan as we are facing unprecedented challenges. We are turning to you, our cherished patrons, friends and those that love us from a far, to rally together and ensure we not only survive but thrive during this challenging time.
Your support would help us to, first and foremost, address financial hurdles that developed during COVID-19. It would also allow us to focus on the health of the business as a whole and provide financial space for us to breathe into our next steps of expansion.
Souley Vegan isn't just a place to eat; it's where memories have been made, friendships have been built and minds have opened. We have always made it our mission to establish a community space where folks from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, cultures, and income levels; come to enjoy an experience that is centered around delicious Louisiana creole cuisine, that just happens to be plant-based.

Here is a bit about our History:
I am Executive Chef and Owner Tamearra Dyson, a proud Oakland native whose family hails from Louisiana. I opened Souley Vegan - Oakland in 2009 with just under $30 in the register. Before eating plant-based food was popular, or even understood, I took a chance and pursued my dream of establishing a community space where people loved the environment, energy, and food so much that they would break out a deck of cards and play at the tables. While working 18 - 20-hour days and years of hard work in developing craft recipes from our vegan cheeez, country steak, to the “Pray 4 Me” burger, with the help of my team I was able to bring my vision into fruition.

Personal chef experience, in your home (must book within two years and within these territories: California, Arizona & Las Vegas, NV. Anything outside of these territories would additionally require flight and accommodations for Chef and one assistant, plus supplies)
Reserve seating at Souley Vegan locations must be made one week prior.
