A Memorial Chair for Soulboy Khalil Fong in Vancouver Canada

When I woke up this morning and saw that the fundraising goal had been exceeded, I was truly overwhelmed with emotion. Thank you—each and every one of you who supported the "Khalil Fong Memorial Bench" project.

The number $7555 feels especially and meaningful. It immediately reminded me of the Dreamer album cover, where Khalil is holding up 5 fingers—that image of positivity, strength, and gentle energy.

The donation portal is now officially closed. From the initial hesitation to finally launching this project, it was your encouragement that gave me the courage and motivation to begin. A special thank-you to those who left me kind messages on Rednote—you helped me realize I wasn’t alone in missing him, and in wanting to create something lasting in his memory. And to every fan who contributed—this wouldn’t have been possible without you.

We’re now in the process of selecting the exact location for the bench and deciding on the inscription. Vancouver is a large city, so we’ll be taking our time to visit potential sites in person, carefully considering the environment, atmosphere, and accessibility. We want to make sure this tribute truly reflects our collective love for Khalil.
