Sole provider tragically killed by drunk driver

Donation protected
Sabas Ruiz Galaviz was tragically hit by a drunk driver while having dinner at a taco truck stand
on October 9, 2021. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and had to be placed on
life support shortly after. Sabas sadly died on October 18, 2021. Sabas is survived by two
elderly sisters whom he provided full financial support for. One of his sisters was born with a
developmental disability and was dependent on a caregiver her whole life. That caregiver was
his eldest sister. She feeds, toilets, bathes, and dresses her every single day without any
complaints. In one split second his two sister’s lives dramatically changed. Their lives were shattered when they learned that their beloved brother will never go home to Mexico, will never call them, will never look over them even if it was from afar.
My family is praying for his sisters to find the strength and courage to go on but in the meantime we want them to have the comfort of knowing that financially they are supported.
Every cent helps and is tremendously appreciated and those that
are unable to give, your prayers are truly a blessing. God bless.

Sabas was a reserved, kind, humble and respectful individual. He never married or had children
and solely focused on providing for his sisters in need. He did not deserve to leave this world in
the cruel and senseless way he did.
