We are reaching out to ask for your support for our amazing child who is running in the cross-country team this season with Sotomayor Magnet High School. Running has quickly become more than just a sport; it's teaching the runners discipline, resilience, and the joy of working hard toward a goal. This year brings some incredible opportunities for the Cross Country team to compete and grow as athletes, but with those opportunities come expenses that add up quickly. Between travel to meets, snacks for the whole team of 20 or more, invitational race fees, medals, and banquet fees, the financial burden is more than we can cover on our own.
