Santuario di Cavalli un rifugio di amore e libertà

Nel cuore della meravigliosa Chapada Diamantina, in Brasile, Flavio ha dato vita ad un santuario di cavalli chiamato “Terra Dos Milagres” dove si prende cura e vive con 20 animali: 7 cavalli, 7 gatti e 6 cani.

La missione è creare uno spazio di armonia tra uomo e natura, dove i sette cavalli possano vivere in libertà. Un rifugio per chiunque voglia connettersi profondamente con la natura e imparare uno stile di vita più sostenibile e autentico. 

Perché abbiamo bisogno del tuo aiuto?  

- I cavalli vivono in una stalla troppo piccola e hanno bisogno di uno spazio più ampio. Inoltre non esistono vere e proprie mangiatoie.

- I gatti e i cani non hanno un riparo adeguato, dormono tra i furgoni e l’accampamento dei volontari.

- I mezzi di trasporto, FONDAMENTALI per acquistare cibo e medicinali, necessitano di riparazioni URGENTI.

- Non c’è gas, né bagno; tutto è immerso nella natura, e la doccia è all’aperto.

- Non c’è una sistemazione adeguata per ospitare più di 2 volontari alla volta, che verranno a dare una mano, così da espandere la rete di supporto. 

- Sviluppare progetti di permacultura, per rendere la fattoria sempre più autosufficiente

Lo stile di vita è completamente sostenibile: cuciniamo solo con la legna, seguiamo una dieta vegetariana e lavoriamo quotidianamente per migliorare le condizioni della fattoria.  

Mantenere un luogo così speciale richiede impegno, risorse e tanto lavoro.

In the heart of the wonderful Chapada Diamantina, Brazil, Flavio has created a horse sanctuary called Terra dos Milagres, where he cares for and lives with 20 animals: 7 horses, 7 cats, and 6 dogs. 

The mission is to create a space of harmony between humans and nature, where the seven horses can live in freedom. It is a refuge for anyone who wants to deeply connect with nature and learn a more sustainable and authentic way of life.

Why do we need your help? 

- The horses live in a stable that is too small and need a larger space.There are no proper feeders available.

- The cats and dogs do not have adequate shelter; they sleep between vans and the volunteer camp.

- The transport vehicles, essential for purchasing food and medicine, require urgent repairs.

- There is no gas or bathroom; everything is surrounded by nature, and the shower is outdoors.

- There is no suitable accommodation to host more than two volunteers at a time, who come to help expand the support network.

- Developing permaculture projects to make the farm increasingly self-sufficient.

Our lifestyle is entirely sustainable: we cook only with wood, follow a vegetarian diet and work daily to improve the farm’s conditions. 

Maintaining such a special place requires dedication, resources, and a lot of work.
