Our lovely cat, Sosa, has recently suffered an injury after an unfortunate accident falling off of our balcony. After going missing for a couple of days, we were luckily reunited with her, but the fall has led to a broken fang and a serious fracture in her front paw. To avoid health complications down the line, she will have to undergo a major operation with metal rods inserted into her leg in order for the bone to set correctly and have her fang removed. If this operation is successful, she may have a chance to walk, run, and play normally again.

Unfortunately the costs of this procedures are out of our reach, and not covered by the pet plan we have for her, especially after already spending over £500 on vet visits, screens and medications post-injury. We’ve researched different clinics but none of the options are any more affordable, and at this point we just want Sosa to get back on her paws as soon as possible, before the bone sets incorrectly and we risk her limping for the forseeable future.

Anyone who has met Sosa knows how lovely, patient, friendly and playful she is. Even after the injury she’s suffered, she still tried to play and stay active the whole time. It already breaks our heart to think she won’t be able to be fully herself for the 6 weeks of the recovery, but we want to make sure she can go back to normal as soon as possible.

We attached the email from the clinic with all the estimated costs to stay transparent with anyone that considers donating. We would really appreciate if you would help us cover the cost of Sosa's operation, so that she can be healthy and happy, and avoid having any risks to her health later in her life. Anything helps!
