Remembering Pam-Help 4 Troy & Jamie

Life is a precious thing and you never know what will come around the corner for you to realize how precious life really is.
SOS - Pam needs our help!!! In late October 2013 Pam began experiencing flu like symptoms and muscle pain. The pain became so bad that she was forced to stop working and stay home and rest in hopes that she would get better. It didn’t!
In November Pam was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis which is an auto-immune, connective-tissue disease characterized by inflammation of the muscles and the skin. While DM most frequently affects the skin and muscles, it is a systemic disorder that may also affect the joints, the esophagus, the lungs, and, less commonly, the heart.
It has been an ongoing battle for Pam and Troy. Pam has been put on several different medications, and tried different treatments to help with the pain and ongoing muscle deterioration with no success. Presently after a long wait for a specialized drug ”retuximab” which we all hoped would be the drug that would finally put Pam on the path to wellness only to discover that she had a very adverse effects. As options are quickly running out the medical expenses are piling up.
Pam has lost all mobility and continues to experience severe pain with increased muscle and weight loss and has been hospitalied until a new coarse of action can be found. This has left Troy (her husband) to look after Pam, their 11 year old daughter and the upkeep of the house and yard. This is taking its toll on the whole family!
We are wanting to raise money to help with medical expenses, mobility equipment and day to day expenses such as house cleaning, yard maintenance, etc. Anything that will help take the burden off and make life a bit easier so they can concentrate on Pam's treatment and recovery.
Any amount is appreciated.
