Hello, I am Rajkumar Devjani, a citizen of the Netherlands, and I am coordinating with a team of activists in India to rescue four queer friends currently held hostage against their will by their abusive biological family, and help them escape violence. Their situation is horrifying and heartbreaking which includes physical assault, forceful restraint, unlawful seizure of personal belongings, violation of privacy, autonomy and agency, financial abuse, emotional manipulation, character assassination, gaslighting, and mental torture; in other two cases include unlawful police surveillance, violence, harassment, kidnapping and rape. All 4 of them are in a critical situation and in dire need of a fundraiser to cover medical, housing, and other basic living costs for 5-6 months. This is for Jenny, Luna, Ravyn and Tisha.
1. Jenny is a transwoman from Mumbai who escaped forced sex-work earlier this year and currently dealing with housing & health issues. She has been raped by the police twice, the Indian judiciary is usually transphobic and lawyers are expensive. Recently she was stalked for 2 weeks, kidnapped by the police and dragged back to the place she escaped from. Raven rescued her and brought her back to her temporary shelter, but her current refuge is no longer safe. The possibility of the police kidnapping her again is real. Help us raise funds for her surgery and aftercare, shelter, food and basic living expenses while we help her find jobs. Please be the reason she can get back up on her feet and lead a life of dignity, financial independence, autonomy and agency.
2. Luna is a queer non-binary person from Indore who has tried escaping from their abusive family three times in the past, unsuccessfully. Our team is planning and executing a rescue operation, which might involve engaging Indore-based queer activists and NGOs. We are securing funds for their rent, deposit, bills/utilities, food, travel, and basic living expenses for 5-6 months while we help them secure a full-time job as a photographer/ videographer. Contribute to help Luna rebuild their life.
3. Ravyn is a queer, non-binary interdisciplinary researcher with psycho-social disabilities living with chronic pain. R was rescued from their abusive family in Mumbai, who restrained them, snatched their devices, threatened to ruin their career, and destroy R's life by forcing arranged marriage upon them. All they dream is to work, gain financial independence and pursue their higher studies in Anthropology and Urban Studies. After moving to a new city they stayed at a queer shelter home during which they were diagnosed with C-PTSD and Depression, and lately they have been getting nightmares, severe panic attacks, and suicidal ideations. Help Ravyn pursue their higher education and rebuild their life.
4. Tisha is a transwoman from Bangalore who is currently facing severe abuse from her family (too many disturbing graphic details to mention here). She has been facing consistent emotional and physical trauma. We urgently need to raise money to enable her to move out from her parental home and become independent. She will need to pay for rent, basic living expenses, utilities/bills, food, travel, etc. Be her hope.
We are raising a total of 19037 EUR / 22,148 USD for Jenny, Luna, Ravyn, and Tisha.
As further evidence of these four cases, I am attaching some documents, bills, identity proofs, etc. in order to provide credibility:
1. Jenny's medical records: https://pdflink.to/9a3f1a96/
2. Ravyn's abuse, escape, police and shelter home records: https://pdflink.to/d36cd60a/
3. Ravyn's medical records: https://pdflink.to/08604ebc/
Not only are all four of them scared for their life, dealing with depression and trauma, we are heartbroken and scared for them too. This fundraiser is the only means for them to find hope to continue living. Please contribute your hard earned money to saving 4 queers lives.
