Our Sarah is the kindest, sweetest little spitfire you could ever meet. Those who know her love her. Those who don't quickly love her too. She is just one of those people that you instantly know is good.

But we know that from years of knowing her. And one thing we know for sure is she has done so much in her life to help others. She never makes a big deal of it. She helps; even if she is struggling herself. It's just who she is.

She's always quick to help others but also loathes to ask for help for herself.

So when we recently found out that she was struggling and needed help, we had to try to do something.

What we learned was that years of being the sole income earner and having to pay for outrageously high medical bills for her family, her finances have always been precarious and now have reached the point where she just can't do it anymore.

She has to make the difficult decision to file for bankruptcy to help manage her expenses. She is fine with this. She has a manageable plan in place. But she found out that in doing so, she runs the risk of losing her house if she doesn't file quickly enough.

And she needs $2,000 immediately to complete the bankruptcy process. But that cost is way to high for her available funds. Which means she is stuck in an almost impossible situation.

So she doesn't have the funds to file, but can't afford her bills anymore. If she doesn't file soon, her house will be up for sale and she and her family will lose their home. Without it, she and her family could become homeless.

We cannot let this happen.

So, I'm reaching out to all my local ROMG community, and anyone who knows Sarah, to help us raise the funds to help Sarah save her house.
