Save STARFIELD Animal Sanctuary!

Incredible news to share with you all as our family at Starfield ✨️♥️♥️✨️✨️♥️

An amazing person has come forward to lend us the £88,000 needed, over a 7 year term. This is such a relief as the short term emergency loan needs to be paid back ASAP but incredibly saved our sanctuary♥️♥️♥️✨️

Whilst this is unbelievable, I do have to pay this loan back which is in excess of £1000 a month.

This is on top of the normal outgoing costs for the sanctuary means an income of £3000 a month is needed. £1071 for the loan plus an average of £2000 for feed, hay and straw costs during summer and this increases in the winter months. This doesnt cover any vet bills.

Sadly, I do not earn that amount alone and desperately need your help once again.

Once I am fit enough I will be back working full-time and hopefully allowed to do some overtime but for the immediate repayments I will need to use the GoFundMe monies to pay the initial monthly loan.

I am starting back on my shifts later tonight but I am worried about working full-time immediately as still recovering from my heart attack and have had several scares over the last weeks ending up in visits to the hospital. Until the MRI scan has been done, doctors are still puzzled as to why this is happening.

I plan to set up a sponsor page for the 106 animals so that perhaps individuals could pay £10 per month to support one of the amazing souls here at the Sanctuary.

Watch out for the opportunity to sponsor one of the residents but also if you could possibly donate a few pounds in the meantime, the animals and I will be very grateful.

"An amazing person has come to the rescue in time to for me to complete before the deadline of 16th August by lending me the £88,000 needed to secure the barn & land for the Starfield animals. This is a VERY short term loan to take the pressure off of next week’s deadline. I am truly elated and will be forever grateful to this person as this solves the immediate emergency and I can relax a bit now as I am still feeling quite unwell following my recent heart attack.

However, there is now the issue of the longer term solution. We need to keep the GoFundMe page fully active to try and reach the £88,000 target or perhaps someone would be prepared to lend the money on a long term loan agreement. Once I am fit to return to work I will be back beavering away but in the meantime I need to rest and recover. This has taken the immediate stress away but there needs to be another solution as soon as possible. Thank you from myself and all the animals at Starfield. I am truly grateful for your kindness and support ❤️✨"

Starfield Sanctuary still needs to raise £88,000 to buy their rented home in West Wales by 16 August.

Sanctuary founder, Jane – star of Saved by Jane – relocated to Carmarthenshire because the council refused permission to build a shelter on their former fields in Devon. The land in Wales has a well-kept barn big enough for everyone.

Jane has now sold her land in England BUT there’s a big shortfall - land prices there have fallen and we now have 4 weeks left to secure the new sanctuary land.

As most of you know, Jane suffered a heart attack 3 weeks ago - no doubt brought on by the grave reality if she doesn’t secure the money then she and the animals may lose everything. Let’s help get them over this final hurdle. Over £4500 raised here so far. THANK YOU!
