Hi, I’m Sheila Mix, Executive Director of Community Development Services, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting our community.
I’m excited to launch this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for our Community Development project - The S.O.S. (Saving Our Selves) Community Assistance Fund, a fundraiser for the people and by the people.
Our work is vital in fostering resilience and creating opportunities for all, and I believe we can make a significant impact together.
Your donations will directly contribute to their efforts in tangible ways, such as:
- Providing essential resources (childcare, rental assistance and food) for local families.
- Providing emergency funds for nonprofit organizations who have experienced budget cuts so they can continue providing vital services for the community
- Providing scholarship funds for students
