SOS!!! Save Smart Kreativ Shop!

We opened the Smart Kreativ Shop in 2015. We have prided ourselves on owning a shop that fosters self expression, creativity and individualism. Over the years we have helped hundreds of kids unearth their hidden artistic talent, build self-esteem, and create long lasting friendships through arts and crafts. We organized birthday parties, communions, weddings and workshops. We have supported our US military and German community by offering arts and crafts classes, and we have also continually volunteered our time and provided donations for US military and German events. This isn’t just our shop, it has been a focal point for the community to come together. Smart Kreativ Shop means family. This shop has been an extension of my family y’all, that’s all there is to it!

As owners of a small family run business, we are feeling the effects of the current pandemic and economic situation. I say this with a heavy heart and I don’t want to sound dramatic but this is the truth we face. This is our last ditch effort to keep our shop open. Our main source of  revenue has come from art classes and workshops that we offered on site or remotely at events around our community. Since the beginning of the pandemic we have not been able to offer any classes which has put us in a very difficult financial situation. Unfortunately, we have not received any financial help from the government because of our business structure, and we are now struggling to keep our business open.
