My name is Robyn and I’m embarrassed to even create this account. However, after 2 years of my husband struggling with mental illness and having two heart attacks last March, we are in an extreme situation. Behind on most bills and risking many things being shut off I need to ask for help.

My husband Kris and I are normally the people that try to help others. My husband spent several years as a volunteer firefighter and served during Hurricane Florence and Harvey.

I work at a low income Elementary School and while my pay isn’t significant I make too much for public assistance.

By God’s Grace and a lot of patience my husband is doing a million times better than he was last year. Mentally he is on the mend and has started working again. But the past two years has left us in a complete financial mess. Money is beyond tight and we are at risk of losing our home.

Losing everything we’ve worked for would be devastating. Especially to our children. They have no idea what a difficult situation we’re in as we try to shelter them from life’s struggles as much as possible.

Any funds donated would be used to keep basic utilities on, help catch up on mortgage and pay for necessities.

I don’t deserve help more than anyone else. But I’m asking for it because my options have run out. My husband isn’t aware that I’m doing this. He’s a prideful man and would be devastated. Prayers and shares are appreciated.
