S.O.S Save Our Sealyhams
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Gail. My partner, Harry, and I are trying to raise funds to help us with the care and upkeep of our small pack of Sealyham Terriers .
In 2008 there were only 43 Sealyham pups registered with the Kennel Club in the U.K and they were on the Vulnerable Native Breed list .Having had the breed for several years we were already besotted by them but knew something had to be done to raise awareness and save them from extinction.
We have dedicated our lives to these little terriers, beginning with Alice in the early 2000's and since then have built up and kept a small pack, promoting their countless virtues at Country Shows, Crufts and other events over the years.
We have kept them in the public eye with magazine covers and articles, television programs and even a piece on Sky News on Christmas Day 2011 . These can all be viewed on our website
Over the years we have bred some beautiful puppies for families who have since become good friends through the mutual love of the Sealyhams.
Although still a Vulnerable Breed, they are now in a much better position and we intend , with your help , to continue our promotion , so that these glorious little dogs are around for future generations to enjoy.
Unfortunately, a year of unforeseen setbacks has left us facing a very uncertain future with our dogs and with the ever rising costs of caring for them we really are struggling to keep things going at the moment
Our Sealyhams are our everything and have brought countless joy, not only to us but to everyone that meets them or has the pleasure of owning one of their offspring .
Any funds raised will be used for all aspects of caring for the terriers for at least the next couple of years whilst we try to get back on our feet , covering everything from food to vet bills, grooming, heating , vehicle and fuel costs and general living costs to hopefully secure their future with us and our future with them.
Thank You so much for taking the time to read this .If you would like to know more please do get in touch via our website
