(English Below)Siamo una piccola Associazione golfistica italiana (ASD) di un campo da golf a 9 buche in provincia di Bologna. Il nostro sogno è semplice ma importante: restituire al golf club Casalunga, la possibilità di continuare ad esistere, un luogo dove fare sport, stare insieme e crescere come comunità.

In Italia il golf è sempre stato ritenuto uno sport per pochi, ma in realtà il nostro club si è sempre impegnato nella promozione di questa disciplina, affinché chiunque possa avvicinarsi a questa pratica e fare esperienza di questo bellissimo sport.

Tra le nostre attività rientrano una Academy dedicata ai ragazzi dai 7 ai 15 anni e, grazie ai nostri istruttori federali, ci occupiamo anche di disabilità includendo in particolare bimbi autistici di grado 1 e 2.

Dal Maggio 2023 ad Ottobre 2024 abbiamo subito tre devastanti alluvioni che ci hanno messo in ginocchio. Al momento si sono salvate solo 2 buche del campo su 9.

Nella nostra struttura lavorano 10 persone con famiglie, che rischiano di perdere il loro posto di lavoro e, non potendo svolgere ormai da molti mesi, le consuete attività sportive ( gare, eventi, ecc), i soci ci stanno abbandonando.

Non avendo ricevuto alcun ristoro economico dalle istituzioni, abbiamo pensato che l’unico modo per salvare la nostra struttura è di chiedere un aiuto alla community per evitare la chiusura definitiva. Dobbiamo ricostruire gli argini difensivi, i green e il percorso del campo, oltre ad una serie di scavi per il deflusso delle acque in eccesso. Tutto ciò comporta il noleggio di escavatori, l’acquisto di manto erboso e sementi, la mano d’opera e lo smaltimento del legname e del fango causato dall’alluvione.

We are a small Italian golf association (ASD) operating a 9-hole golf course in the province of Bologna. Our dream is simple but important: to give Golf Club Casalunga the chance to continue to exist, as a place to play sports, spend time together, and grow as a community.

In Italy, golf has always been seen as a sport for the few, but our club has always been committed to promoting the sport so that anyone can approach it and experience this beautiful game.

Among our activities, we have an Academy dedicated to children aged 7 to 15, and, thanks to our certified instructors, we also focus on disability, specifically including children with autism spectrum disorder (level 1 and 2).

From May 2023 to October 2024, we suffered three devastating floods that brought us to our knees. At the moment, only 2 out of the 9 holes have been salvaged.

10 people with families work at our facility, who risk losing their jobs. With the inability to carry out normal sports activities (competitions, events, etc.) for many months now, our members are abandoning us.

Having received no financial aid from the authorities, we have decided that the only way to save our facility is to ask for help from the community to prevent its permanent closure. We need to rebuild the defensive embankments, the greens, and the course layout, along with various excavations for excess water drainage. All of this requires the rental of excavators, the purchase of turf and seeds, labor, and the disposal of wood and mud caused by the flood.
