Sorrisos de Leste: Dili´s Flood Relief

On April 3rd, 2021, we received devastating news from our beloved country.
A tropical storm has hit several points of East-Timor, leaving hundreds of properties damaged, families with their belonging and food supplies destroyed or contaminated, approximately 7000 people are obligated to refuge in parishes since it´s the only place to go. And sadly many lives have been lost.
Due to poor drainage system, East-Timor mostly the capital of Dili has experienced floods almost every year, but this recent tropical storm has caused major destruction than in previous years. Something we have never seen before.

We Sorrisos De Leste, are asking you to please support us in raising funds by making a contribution towards flood relief in Dili. The money raised will be used entirely to beneficiate the victims of the floods and to assist volunteers of Sorrisos de Leste in allocating goods and donations in several points of the capital.
