Theta Scholarship in Sarah’s name

Our beloved Sarah suffered from depression and took her own life at age 38. Funds will go towards a Scholarship for Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
The "Sarah Highley Scholarship" will provide a scholarship for the future Kappa Alpha Theta, through the advocacy of sorority sisters, speakers, and counselors.
Sarah’s kindness, empathy, and strength were evident in everything she did.
She had suppressed a lot of the thoughts in her head, and to this day a lot of people wouldn't even realize or notice what goes on behind the scenes.
Some family and close friends couldn't tell when she was elevated or severely depressed most of the time. She would also remain very calm and avoid conflict, making it harder to notice her inner struggles.
Sadly, Sarah took her life on May 25th, 2019. We will miss you so much Sarah, Fly high!
