Hello,
My name is Intisar.
I wanted to kindly start this fundraiser with the sole goal of leaving the war-torn Gazan diaspora.
My home has been destroyed from the start of the war,
and I have been left stranded with two of my toddlers, my youngest having been born with a birth defect that had resulted in their esophagus not being fully developed. This in turn has caused them to suffer worse and worse symptoms with the current ongoing environment, from smoke and dust caused by bombings, to white phosphorous, all the way to the harsh cold homeless nights. As a parent my only goal is to provide for them at the very least the necessities of life; from food and water, to shelter, a warm and loving environment, and above all a safe space to call home. Currently, I have to take them to the only available medical hotspot available on a daily basis, and the most recent visitation had unfortunately developed into having no more medication that they require for easing their breathing. The wheezing and gasping for air are heart wrenching for a parent to watch and hear. My eldest was not spared the horrors of war. She has developed acute and prolonged panic attacks ; her breathing gets so shallow that I almost fear for the worst; and start to think that death is a mercy for my own children. A thought that no parent should ever have to live through.
We urge and plea for anyone who can help us in our dire moment. We only seek donations in order to flee to Egypt, to have our children admitted into medical facilities that can provide them the necessary help that they need. Nothing more, nothing less. If you are unable to partake in the donation process; then please don’t let our voices and pleas die out. No parent should have to watch their children die Infront of them multiple times a day.
