Hi everyone,

My name is Cosme, and I’m Soraya’s dad. I’m reaching out because I want to give my daughter the best possible chance to achieve her dreams.

For Soraya, dance isn’t just an activity—it’s everything. As she says, “It’s my career, Dad.” And honestly, I (and many others) believe it’s her calling.

Her passion for dance and performing has been clear since she could walk. At Balance Studio where Soraya attends she has a remarkable team of hi-level instructors that see her level of talent. Her 2nd year of dance at age 7 she was asked to join ages 9-11 competition team for group and solos performances. Her recent performance at Euphoria’s dance competition was a true reflection of who she is. Her skill and love she pours into her craft. She placed 1st out of 73 soloists and 1st out of the top ten list of overall performances. (age 12 and under)—an incredible achievement that we are so proud of.

Because of this, Soraya was awarded an amazing opportunity: to attend the Lightning Elite Dance Training at Walt Disney World. This means she’ll get to train with elite instructors, connect with talented dancers from all across Canada and the United states, and perform at the Walt Disney World Resort!! It’s an unforgettable chance for her to grow, gain exposure, and experience the magic of a stage where dreams truly feel real.

We believe this opportunity is incredibly important for her development—not just as a dancer, but as a performer.

With that said, we are working very hard to raise the funds needed to make this dream a reality. Big dreams come with big costs, which is why we’re asking for help.

The total cost of this trip is over $12,000, which includes training, accommodation and travel/transportation. Every contribution will go directly toward supporting Soraya’s dance journey.

As a family, we are doing everything we can—but we also know it takes a community. We would love for you to be part of the team that supports Soraya.

She is an incredible girl who brings light into every room she enters. Her passion and love for life are contagious. If you’ve ever believed in chasing a dream, then watching Soraya perform is like seeing that dream already alive inside her. Where some see a spark, Soraya brings fireworks.
