Please help us support Soraya in her battle with cancer. She was recently diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer which is very aggressive. but usually responds well to aggressive treatments. The doctors explained this will be about 6 months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery to remove the cancer and then another round of chemotherapy. Some of this time she will be unable to work full time, or at all, due to side effects of treatment.
Soraya has had an incredibly difficult last few years, and now needs your help more than ever.
During this time I really have grown to love this woman more and more, and I see the amazing strength she has. She is an amazing mother to her two daughters and a compassionate nurse that I frequently witnessed going above and beyond to help her patients.
She is known for being super talkative, friendly, and having the loudest laugh in the room :)
As things were starting to settle down and be more manageable, we got the cancer diagnosis, and we knew it was another tough time ahead.
If you are able to contribute anything to put towards her medical bills, and assist with day to day expenses so she can have less stress and focus on recovery, it would make a huge difference in her life.
If not able, I understand, and would only ask (since I am not very involved in social media and don't have a massive friends list) could you please share this story to help me spread the word so she can put up an even better fight.
