Sophy's fundraising for Children with Cancer

This February  my family and I found out my 11 month old niece, Grace, has cancer. She has a Wilms Tumour and is  currently undergoing chemo to shrink the tumour before it is removed surgically in early March.  At least 6 months of chemo will follow so its going to be a long, worrying year for us.  She has had other procedures already during these past few weeks which are painful and uncomfortable, but she continues to smile. And if Grace can smile, so can we. 

Gracies hair has started to fall out, so in her honour I will be shaving my head this month and any funds will be given to Children with Cancer and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Gracie is currently being treated in the Great North Childrens Hospital in Newcastle where she is being well taken care of.   The staff are amazing and already this charity are having an impact and Grace has already build up quite a collection of beads (think Pandora for Cancer Kids!!)

Gracie is turning 1 on the 1st of March and I'm hoping to be shaving my head around that time. I intend doing an Instagram live so anyone can join and see the process. Date and times will be updated closer to the time (sophy.gurl).
