Sophie Stiles Nashville project

Story

It's a terrifying and wonderful thing to set foot on the path of your calling. Years have passed since the moment I first felt Jesus' pull on my heart to write and play music that reflects both honesty and truth. And I've been pouring myself into that mission ever since. Now, the door has swung wide open for me to step further into my calling. So, as nervous and overwhelmed as it makes me feel, I'm choosing to advance boldly and with complete confidence because I believe that this is Jesus' plan for my life. I have the opportunity to work with Ed and Scott Cash, two brothers who have made music with the best of the best Christian artists- Bethany Dillon, Ben Rector, Brandon Heath, Amy Grant, to name a few I love.I remember being 12 years old and stumbling upon Bethany Dillon's album Imagination. That record changed my life because it made me realize that having (what I felt at the time to be) a "scratchy" or raspier voice could be so beautiful. And of course Ed Cash produced it, so I latched onto that name with reverence. Twelve years later, I can hardly believe that I get to work with them! The plan is for myself, Alex Heater (bandmate and musical genius who produced my EP "Chartreuse", if you want to check it out https://sophiestiles.bandcamp.com), and Chris Heisner (guitar/bass wizard and bandmate) to spend a week in Nashville this September recording with Scott and Ed Cash. I have four new songs that I am so excited for us to bring to life! Working with professional producers in Nashville is expensive, and in most cases the costs would be covered by record labels. However, since I am an independent artist, my project has to be self-funded. If you feel led to partner with me in this, I would be forever grateful! It's not just a new batch of songs- it's the opportunity to inspire and encourage people with songs that come from a place of brokeness but speak to the life and healing that can only come from Jesus Christ. The costs involved include production, studio hours, mixing, mastering, and physical CDs of the completed project. The good news is the more I raise, the more songs I can create! To all that contribute, I will personally send you the new music upon completion! As well as a copy of my Chartreuse EP :)Thank you so much for the love and support!- Sophie
