Miss Alaska High America Funds

Hey there! My name is Sophie Sorensen and I was recently crowned Miss Alaska High School America 2016 on October 24th. One thing that many people forget about pageants is that they are not all just glamour and fun, but also VERY expensive! I will be traveling to San Antonio, Texas July 6-11th  to represent the state of Alaska on the national stage of Miss America. Not only do I need a plane ticket there, but  also need to pay for a hotel, local transportation, required dresses and wardrobe, along with other pageant necessities!
